METAMORPHOSIS Exhibition

Metamorphosis Exhibition is the result of my one year residency at Flower City Arts Center, Rochester, NY. During my residency period, I have explored, practiced and experimented different techniques of alternative/ experimental photography genre including advanced darkroom techniques and nature related printing processes. The exhibition is a combination of all the knowledge I have acquired during my residency period by taking classes as well as being self-taught. I came to the residency with the proposal of making this project idea of “Metamorphosis” I had in mind for years and I am glad I was finally able to publish it as an exhibition thanks to Flower City Arts Center and everyone who had supported my vision during the very troublesome year with depression caused by the military coup in my native country Myanmar and passing of my beloved father during this traumatic period without being able to get medical help because of the coup.
